because he decided to single me out and to say that, listen, as we're having conversations about the future of this dinner, I just want to let you know he is not invited.
And I think about it where he's trying to exclude me from an organization
That, first of all, he did not make me a part of.
The people of Maryland made me a part of the National Governors Association when they elected me to be the 63rd governor of the state with the largest vote count in the history of Maryland gubernatorial elections.
And he did not make me the vice chair of the organization.
Do you know who did that?
The other governors.
Democrat and Republican who voted for me to serve as the vice chair of this organization.

But I've also been very clear that I will work with anyone, but I will bow down to no one.
And I think it's that second component that the president seems to have a deep disagreement with.
