I don't feel that way.

I'm a Catholic, too, but I don't think that the sacraments have anything to do with our relationship with the visitors.

And I mean, my relation, my relationship with my friends and family have to do have a sacramental level to them and and my relationship to the church.

But it's not protective in the sense that going to communion is not going to protect me from my wife's wrath.

I found that out long ago.

Any case.

And this is not going to be protective in the way they hope.

so the religious part of it there will be a significant ontological shock i think that the hindu people will integrate this into their their uh pantheon very easily i don't think that will be a significant shock to them uh i think that

The Buddhist people will have similar difficulty to the highly educated intellectual elites because there's no place for this in Buddhism that I know of.

I'm not that expert on it.

So there will be a complex series of shocks in the sciences, the academy and in religion.

Now, in economy, there will also be very significant shocks.

Because this is going to raise a lot of unanswerable questions.

And a lot of those questions are going to have to do with the flow of our economic life, and the significance of technologies, perhaps, that are very far beyond where we are now.

Because we could easily be dealing with technologies such as

some people have already experienced, which is when you're inside a UFO, and you put your hands on a certain place in it, your consciousness flows out into the skin of the machine, and you become the UFO.

Now, that's a technology.

But it's not a technology we can even begin to understand.

And it's going to be incredibly disruptive, because it has the potential to completely revise the whole idea of travel.

Another one that will be very disruptive is telepathy.
