He was not culturally, spiritually superior to the people he conquered.
He just had better guns, better tech.
They may be very much our inferiors emotionally, morally,
spiritually, but they've got better tech.
So we look to them and we think, oh, my God, with tech like that, they must be demons.
They must be angels.
I see scared little people who smell really funny and who have an incredible amount of an incredible ability to overcome and manipulate the human mind.
That's my experience of it.
Well, it turns out that the Native American communities, the people in the Lakota Sioux Reservation, who I talked to about this, knew all about that.
The Native peoples have been with this forever.
This has been part of both in this country and in Brazil and in Canada.
They're conversant with this.
And they said, oh, that creates a bridge
for us when we do ritual use of tobacco between us and the spirit world and enables them to talk to us.
And some of the hybrids have tried to get me to smoke.
They even suggested I use a vape thing because their attitude is that something in the nicotine facilitates telepathy.
And so the native peoples are facilitating telepathy when they smoke.
But I don't wanna smoke and I don't care.
I'm not interested in having telepathy with them unless it's necessary.
And when it is necessary, they come and I can have it with them quite easily.
