Last time they won 60 games, they marched on to the Eastern Conference Finals.

And look, the NFL draft is about 10 days away.
So that that will always forever dominate conversation in this town.
Honestly, in most towns, the NFL team.
So those two teams right now are front and center.
I hate to use the cop-out because we used it in 2024 too, but the injuries killed them on defense and those piled up over the course of the season.

to find a suitable center and to continue their dominance on the offensive line.
That has been the engine of this team's rise under Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes.
Obviously, a lot of the national focus goes to Jared Goff, and it goes to Amon Ross St.
Brown, Jameer Gibbs, go down the list.
But the reason the Lions rose to prominence in the first place was because they had one of the
two or three best offensive lines in the NFL, and they could just impose their will and their physicality on teams every week.
And last year, for the first time in like three or four years, that was not the case.
And so they've spent most of this offseason prioritizing the rebuild of the offensive line.
They bring in Cade Mays.
They feel great about him.
I would expect them to draft an offensive tackle with their first pick next week.
And if they can finish that job, I think they're primed for a pretty serious bounce-back season next year.
