But um for you know a child that is kind of acting out and expressing themselves a certain way a good
practice, I think, is how would you what would you do to a family member or your best friend that was lying to you?
Right?
What would you do in that situation?
And I get it that they're a younger child and that might there might be some z slight variations, but you know, you would absolutely communicate to that
that person or that child, um, and then you would be slightly less trusting, right?
Um and that can that can be done in many ways, I think, with a child, right?
Um
w the the parental space, right?
Especially in the f in the formative years, this is why I say a stewardship, because we're entrusted with care.
There is a form of
dare I say government there within that house, right?
If government means mind control to steer the mind, our job as stewards in that formative year, of course, when they kind of get into the levels of autonomy um and you know self-awareness, then that absolutely pulls back.
And um but we have to guide our children.
So I could
See a form of kind of reward punishment being somewhat useful in certain contexts.
For instance, if my child was lying to me all the time, I'm not gonna go get them a gift, right?
I'm not gonna if they want to go somewhere, if they want to do something, I'm gonna express to them, no, we're not gonna do that because X, Y, and Z.
That's a form of reward and punishment.
