We'll see if Carlos Baliba gets over the line.
It seems it's very close to happening to give them a third, perhaps more dynamic midfielder to play in there as well.
I still think they need to get a left back by the end of the window, realistically, to try and improve things.
And as you mentioned, I mean, like when you see McGuire holding heaven for the second goal, that was just horrific.
Terrific collective defending from Manchester United in those set pieces, which allowed a whole team who I think everyone quite rightly has predicted are the team most likely to go back down next season.
Incredibly lucky due to circumstance that they came out of the championship last season.
And all expectation is they're going to finish rock bottom at the end of it, albeit I suppose they got three points on the board in the first weekend.
But I don't didn't see anything from Hull that would have made me think that actually we need to revise those predictions either.
Because they didn't offer a huge amount outside the set pieces, but Manchester United played into their hands.
They went to five at the back.
Bruno Fernandez said after the game he was surprised that Hulligan five at the back as opposed to four.
And the belief seems to be that they watched Manchester United in preseason and particularly the struggles they had against five at the back recently against Milan.
Well, like Manchester United, with all of the wealth of talent and all of the money that they've spent, they should be able to adapt to playing against a team at five at the back.
And then you
think of last season when they struggled against Leeds, who played a similar system at All Trafford, maybe Hull have given a blueprint for quite a few teams to play them this season.
It's a good question.
I mean, when you see the amount of youngsters that were coming on for Liverpool yesterday and you looked at their bench, there weren't too many game changers that they had, you know, open to come on and actually uh change things up a bit after Willock had scored the second goal for Newcastle.
I the I my concern would be if I was a Liverpool fan right now, I'd be more worried than before kickoff yesterday because the two full backs still look like they are ridiculously open on the counterattack and Newcastle had so many times
Particularly uh when say Visa came out and maybe ran the channels a little bit more or Alango was running directly at them, Liverpool looked in big trouble because they don't have that defensive midfielder as a shield in front of what's going to be an aging Virgil van Dijk and probably
Uh it's gonna take a few games to work out who the partner is gonna be, whether that's gonna be Jacques or whether it's gonna be Arauho who actually ends up beside him over the next while.
