So Liverpool looked really open defensively, and so many times when Newcastle were on the counter-attack, it looked like Liverpool were in big trouble.

And then at the far end, like again, I just thought the Verts was ineffectual yesterday.

Isak obviously was getting, you know, a certain amount of stick, understandably, from the Newcastle fans.

I thought it was strange he didn't take the penalty because he had the

ball in his hands for a considerable period of time and quite a few of the Newcastle players were coming over and kind of pushing him uh while there was still a question mark over the penalty decision and then Sobesly ends up uh taking the penalty.

I think Sobesley's a better penalty taker.

The one against Burnley was probably the only bad one he's hit over the last uh two seasons of the uh penalties that he's taken but again it seemed weird that Isak wouldn't want to take that responsibility as the main man as their striker.

It was no great surprise that he was the one who took the shot on from a difficult enough position for the goal that they scored as well.

It's weird that Gakpo is the player who seems to be getting linked to leave Liverpool at the moment.

Now, Spurs have obviously been very heavily linked with him.

Maybe it's a case of Ariola who wants to get one or two more direct wingers into the club rather than a player like Gakpo, who likes to play on the inside.

But it's just going to be so strange to see if this can all be worked together because there is now.

I know the feeling of all of these players were bought last season are quite a bit of money.

They're reluctant to move any of those players on.

And it's almost like Eriola's gonna have to find a way to make it all work.

And yesterday there wasn't too much evidence that's actually clicking together for me.
