And my memory of it was that there was almost a mutiny on the bounty that was the French players deciding and Patrice Evers saying, we're not going to train for you.
And Dominic decided, well, screw these guys.

And that was my memory of it.
But it's a little bit more nuanced than that.
So, Evra is one of the main interviewees and he explains the situation.
He explains that they all knew that Anelka hadn't said what had been on the front page of Le Keep, which is the big sports paper in France.

But anyway, basically, they all argued that
that didn't happen and they wanted to get Nelke back.
But even though the government were flying out to try and get around this and whatever else, Nelke was still sent home because Dominic basically didn't contradict the story, even though he knew it wasn't true.
So he allowed Nelke to go home.
Yeah, yeah, big time.
And the thing was, they rang around and they obviously got information from people who knew the team.
So someone in the team was talking.
No spoilers, don't spoil who it is.
But the feeling was that it had been leaked out by somebody.
And the players were like, who's the rat?
