Their forward group, he had a Cole Eisenman to sometimes play with or but, you know, like the guys he was playing with, it wasn't.

So with Lawrence, though, the big thing for me is that he just plays like I always think about Stanley Cup playoffs and work backwards.
Who are the guys that I think if I'm up a goal, down a goal, you know, even at five on five with two minutes left, if I'm a coach, I can pat them on the back and go, this guy will help me win this game.
One way or the other, we're going to have the best chance to win if I play this guy.
And Lawrence is a center who is incredibly active on both sides of the puck.
He's a guy that makes everybody else on the ice with him better, in my opinion.
He moves the puck really well.
There's valid criticism with him in terms of the dynamic ability to create plays in the offensive zone.
He can be a little bit too sort of net-driven and just no matter what, just go to the net, go to the net, go to the net, and not really making a whole lot of plays.
But this is why I do the data tracking, like zooming out
He's an exceptional transition quarterback, offensively, defensively, very good for checker, very good supportive defense, defensive center as well.
He just plays a way that not many other guys in this draft really do and has the energy on both sides of the puck that I personally really love.
And I think that could take them a long way, right?
I'm not always the most interested in the most skilled guys, not the, not the best shooters, not all this stuff.
Cause when it comes time for the Stanley cup playoffs, like I,
we always see how some of the guys that pop up are the ones that just work harder than everybody else, right?
They're the ones who pressure them just a step quicker than everybody else, who are consistent every shift.
