and i love that about him i think that's i think that's the type of swagger that is rare and i think hard to find and on top of that though you see him playing at the world juniors against guys like gavin mckenna you see him at the olympics against guys like jack eichel and austin matthews and quarterbacking the latvian power play and you go this kid does not look like he's 18 years old this kid plays like a grown-up this guy plays
He's been playing against men all year and parts of last year.
He gets tons of practice in the defensive zone.
His team wasn't very good this year.
I think he does have some refinements to work on, and some of his puck management is a little bit questionable.
But I think that the fundamentals in his game, the confidence, the skill, the skating edges, they're all just so good with him that...
I go, you know what, I think that if I had this guy in my system, you would get a very interesting player out of him.
You'd have to have a system, I think, around him that makes it make sense, but I think he could be a really, really good pickup.
