And, you know, with the YouTube channel, just organizing the last week and, you
getting all that prepared it's kind of like a bit of the calm before the storm i guess i kind of feel like maybe a parent does in early december where it's like you may have your presents done but like you know maybe not and you're just kind of wondering what it's going to be like so kind of like that corner sort of a middle ground it's kind of weird but i'm looking forward to it yeah no i can't wait for it it's like you know it's uh you have your list you check it twice you make sure you got it all right and your wishes are going to be there
I mean, I think that he was asked to do a lot, right?
He went to BU halfway through the year.
He started the season injured.
He had a fantastic Lincoln-Gretzky Cup, in my opinion.
People were putting him at number one on their lists here and there at that point in the year.
And he looked the part.
And I think with Boston University, I think a lot of it comes out when you actually really watch how that team played and what they were like when a guy like Cole Hudson wasn't very involved.
And I found that that team, I think, really struggled to...
stitch play together break the puck out effectively um and i think lawrence was a guy who was asked to be he was put in the position to do something that a 17 year old would probably find very difficult to do in that scenario which is sort of like stitch a line together stitch the ice together get the puck up the ice with control and i think with lawrence i mean look i think i think we look at
the Stanley Cup playoffs, I always think about the playoffs backwards.
And I just look at how even the Vegas Golden Knights, right?
The Carolina Hurricanes, everybody just saw them steamroll their way to a Stanley Cup final.
And you watch how teams like that win in the playoffs.
And Mitch Marner, yeah, had a fantastic tournament, fantastic playoffs.
You know, even Jack Eichel, fantastic playoffs.
But like,
You see what just raw compete and effort and net-driven offense can bring you.
It's not necessarily always about the most skilled guy.
