Well, you know, the president made three promises here.
John summed it up pretty well.
S first of all, he said somebody out there has agreed to sell us beef trimmings.
Now, these are not quality cuts of beef.
These are trimmings.
My grandpa used to joke it's what you'd scrape up off the floor after you butchered the cow.
Okay.
Uh they've agreed to sell that at twenty-five percent below the market rate wherever it's coming from.
The second promise is that.
Wait, wait, wait.
Say that
So there's there's some country out there somewhere in the world that has said we will sell you these trimmings and box frozen beef at 25% lower than what we normally sell it to you at.
Then the the second promise that he said has been made is that we're going to waive all the tariffs on this.
Okay.
So depending on what country you're selling this, you know, trim B from, that's another possibly 25%.
And then the third thing that he's promised is that we're going to sell that beef here in the United States at 25% below what it normally sells at.
But like with every Trump trade agreement, we don't know who's selling the beef.
We don't know where it's coming from.
We don't know where the discount is coming from.
And John is absolutely right.
