On the big companies like JBS, and they grind it up with American beef and they sell it in grocery stores as American raised beef because Republicans in this country refuse to implement country of origin labeling so that we know when we go to the grocery store to buy beef that we're buying American beef.
So, what's going to happen is this.
This is only seven days worth of American beef consumption.
So there's no way in hell it's going to have a big enough impact to lower beef at the grocery store.
What it's done already has lowered beef at the sale barn, meaning the price that these packers are paying at the sale barn for cattle is already going down.
So farmers are making less because futures prices are dropping.
The packers are going to buy this beef.
At a reduced rate, sell it to the grocery stores at exactly the same price, and no consumer's gonna get a discount.
And Trump's friends in Brazil are gonna make a killing.
Because here's the deal: they're gonna sell the beef out of Brazil to us and make a profit there, and then buy it here in the United States to process it at a discount as well.
