I mean, a lot of people grew up on a farm and they don't know how to farm.
And when they make the comment like, well, this is the quadrupling of Argentinian beef is just a drop in the bucket.
And if we get rid of the tariffs on Brazil, it's just a drop in the bucket or eliminating $2 billion in foreign beef sales to China is just a drop in the bucket.
It tells me they don't understand how the pricing works in the market, that it's set by futures.
And even the most basic cattleman or woman just starting out in the business understands at a very early age or earlier in their career that prices are set by the board.
And that includes speculation.
It includes price differential, all these different things.
And they just don't understand that.
And the second thing I want to say about it is if you go look at the data they have posted on the USDA website right now, it proves what Frank said.
The majority of these increases in per pound beef cattle prices came under the previous administration.
Now you can argue all day long, can the president do anything to raise beef prices?
A lot of people say no, but there's certainly a lot of president can do to lower beef prices and to lower commodities prices with the row cropping.
And this president has done all of those things.
And that's why we're facing the current situation that we're in.
I think the percentage and sitting it like I think the ag economists and bankers that I met with in Washington, D.C.
during a recent trip, they thought the bankruptcy numbers could be somewhere between 17 and 23 percent just for row crop farmers.
And I think the other thing a lot of people don't understand is that even though beef is at an all time high, with that comes more leveraging because the market's been telling people get big, get big, get big.
So a cattleman doesn't, well, some do.
They don't take all those profits and go buy an F250 top of the line diesel pickup truck.
The younger guys do.
