We're going to learn the hard way what it means to live in a health care desert.

It's not going to be esoteric.
It's not going to be a statistic on the piece of paper.
It's going to be having a heart attack in your living room.
And do you get the treatment in time for your life to be saved?
That's how we're going to learn the lesson.
He did.
And, you know, he made a really good point, and it's the point, if I'm being completely honest with you, I borrowed it from him at the beginning of our interview.
He made the point that, listen, when you look at the polling data, and I hear you talk about this all the time, so I'm sharing something with you you already know, but presidents underwater, the Republicans are underwater in every single category now, including the border and immigration.
There is not a single category measurable in the approval ranking and rating of the Republican Party and the president where they're above water.
And if you believe the polling, even if you halfway believe the polling, the midterm election looks really bad for them to the extent that the Democrats could not only take control of the House, but could have a comfortable lead there.
And he made the same point that I made at the beginning.
Instead of them coming out here and making their arguments based on policy and explaining why these decisions that they're making in state houses and in the Congress are good for the American people,
They're going to try to gerrymander the system so that there are so many Republican districts that even if we win the majority of them, we still don't take Congress.
But here's a point that he made that I wanted to mention to you.
He talks about the fact that these policies that are being passed, if they have to win by fiat, by changing the rules, it's going to mean the destruction of the middle class.
But the other point he makes is that this could really backfire on them.
They're taking districts in the state of Texas that are comfortably 12 to 15 percent Republican.
And they're making them three, four or five percent Republican.
