And this idea just seemed to want to come through.

And that's often what happens.

I just sort of get an idea.

And before I know it, I'm just kind of rolling with it and something just seems to come out of it and I'm in the flow with it, in a flow state.

And then before I know it, I've got an entire story or screenplay written.

It just seems to come to a very

organically when it does happen.

And this one just... It was more the idea of an atmospheric kind of vampire-like figure who was stalking the streets or something about that that just really called to me.

And I just started to work and work on it.

And then based on some suggestions someone else gave to me, I made some additional...

revisions to it, just to kind of extrapolate it a little bit.

And then you made some helpful suggestions as well.

And I was actually quite pleased with it, how it turned out.

until and almost like you're channeling it you know it's coming from somewhere yeah um and it seems to want to speak in some way that's right yeah so what other kind of things have you written uh well i've uh written quite a few there's quite a few horror ones uh there's some which are kind of more uh i suppose existential kind of explorations on my part towards certain things um there's one short story i wrote called um

father light which i'm really really quite proud of that one actually because it came from a very personal place to do with my i think some of the elements of my relationship with my father came through and it's some degree and it's set on a remote lighthouse and there's a lot of kind of interesting very gothic elements to it and i'm submitting that to a an irish literature literary publication in the next little week or so to see if they will accept it because i think it stands a good chance of being uh

you know, published because when I read it back to myself, I thought, wow, this actually sounds pretty damn good, you know, just to toot my own horn a little bit.

But it certainly boosted my confidence.

And there's been, and the screenplays I've written are just kind of all over the map.

There's science fiction, there's horror, there's drama.

It just kind of, it's just, if the idea is interesting to me, then I just seem to pursue it and wherever it takes me.
