So do you see that as continuous in some ways or completely discontinuous?
Well, that's a that's a great question.
Um
You know, in complex systems there's this famous thing, I think it was Anderson said more is different.
Right.
And and and the idea is that you get like a phase transition.
And and the classic example is you have a pot of water on the stove with a digital uh temperature setting.
And if you you just click up one degree every few minutes and nothing happens.
Nothing changes about the system.
And then suddenly you hit this inflection point where you get boiling.
Right.
So it it's it's clear that we see that from a practical point of view, that while there is this universality, we do get phase transitions and kind of capabilities.
Right?
So we had cell phones in the nineties, but they didn't do any of the things that our cell phones can do, even though they had universal processors inside them, but they couldn't
they hadn't gone through this phase transition of capability.
And so it could be that that language is like that, that it gives us
You know, h a whole new
set of apps that we c we can run.
But it also reminds me of this idea that Marvin Minsky talks about, the founder of the of the Media Lab that we're in now.
And he talks about a car and when a car is running.
