And we all know what it means when the car is running, right?

And it's it is it is sort of this digital thing, right?

The car is either running or it's not.

Um maybe you could get into the weird d you know kind of states and stuff.

But to first approximation, it's sort of this digital.

And he argues that with consciousness is is like that.

That we we took systems that in a few generations ago could couldn't very well predict the next word.

And if they did, it was just word salad, right?

And then suddenly just scaling that system up, just training on a larger data set, and then suddenly it can do arithmetic.

And then you scale up a little more and it can do algebra, scale up a little more, it can do theoretical physics.
