I you know, I I just finished a masters last year.
The dissertation that I wrote was on prosecuting perpetrators of child sexual abuse.
Um, and a lot of people who've suffered from child sexual abuse just don't say anything for the rest of their lives.
Um I can't remember what the stats are, but an alarming number of people
will say nothing forever.
Um because they don't wanna well, I mean there are lots of reasons why, but one of the reasons why is you don't is they don't wanna be a be the victim again.
And uh
What am I trying to say?
I don't know, like people respond to this people respond to like
severe stuff differently, I guess.
Um, and I don't think you know, what works for some people isn't gonna work for others.
Well Well maybe, but then at the same time I think
Like there's lots of different ways of like owning it, as it were, right?
So like
I mean we're talking about like literature and writing.
So
if you were to talk about like something like writing a memoir, right?
Which like lots of people do.
Um but then there are also lots of other ways of like writing a story that's not sort of super personal and like graphic and visceral, right?
And so there are lots of stories that we're very familiar with that are of like good triumphing over triumphing over evil in some way.
