I don't want to violate your conscience in the public square.

Not at all.

But if we're going to draw lines at murder and things like that, then yes, Christian morality is being forced upon everybody for the common good.

Yeah, well, so I think one of the biggest signs legally would be the complete abolition of abortion that for the last 50 plus years now, 70 years, a little over 50 years in America here.

The legalization and ability to kill your unborn child in the womb without any repercussions is one of the greatest moral stains and evils on this country's track record.

If we could get to a point where in all 50 states, abortion was completely illegal and it was treated as the murder that it is, which if you look at the biblical book,

principles behind our anti-abortion position as Christians, our pro-life position.

I mean, that's inescapable.

If murder is the taking of an innocent life, if an unborn child is an innocent life and you take their life, you are committing murder.

All parties responsible should be held.

All parties involved should be held responsible.

So that would be a big one.

And I think slowly but surely we're pushing our way back towards that.

Now, that is a tricky question.

I do not believe that America is in a unique covenantal relationship with God per my theological system.

I will note that a lot of our founding fathers did incorporate this covenantal theology, this sort of a new Israel theology into their vision of America, which I can't blame them for that.

But I will say that providentially in God's providence and his kind wisdom and grace and his plan for the unfolding of history, he has incredibly blessed America in ways that we honestly don't deserve to this day, considering how much we've turned our back on him.

So while I don't think we deserve those blessings or can count on them, those blessings have been there and we should take that seriously and steward them well.

Yeah, no, that's a really good point.

And when you brought that up, I was immediately going to go to Thanksgiving.
