I was talking to Julian Seals, a really close pal of mine.
I was telling him, I'm only nervous when I feel as though I didn't prepare well.
Like super nervous.
Obviously there's butterflies and stuff when you go to bat before, but I think once I prepare well, I hit enough balls, I feel as though I'm batting well, I don't be as nervous.
Routines, I would probably say, hmm, I don't really have much routines.
I was pretty superstitious at that point in time.
I used to wear the same jockstrap, I used to wear the same tights because I did well in those before, but I kind of broke out of that now because I feel as though once I prepare well and trust my ability, I don't think a jockstrap could change how well I perform.
it's quite difficult sometimes with cricket but yeah that's the main thing for me Ramadan time I don't fast when I have games like well first class games I did it for like if you have t20s and stuff like that I'll do it it's to be honest it's not that difficult once your body gets accustomed to it
Yeah man, I think religion for me is the most important thing, you know.
In life, we have so many dreams and goals and aspects, but I think none of those things are possible through God.

yeah man i think even though we're enjoying our life as well there's so many hardships going on in the world yeah like so many crazy things are happening so it's all about being grateful for what you have you know yeah that's why that's kind of what gets me through my hard times as well you know like you're going through hard times but at the end of the day
There's people starving out there, there's people dying out there, stuff like that, you know?
So it's things like that which really keeps me in check, to be honest.
Keeps me grounded as well.
So it really plays a big part in my life.
But yeah, man, I think that's what it is.
