the journey that I've had and the experience I have, I try to share with them that, you know, it doesn't take just one good season or a couple of good games for you to feel as though you should be at a high level and playing this cricket and like playing at a first class level, playing international cricket, playing franchise cricket even.
You have to do a lot and you have to set your standard very high.
I believe in that.
I believe in having high standards and because for me,
If I tell myself, okay, three games I want to score, three first class games I want to score 500 runs, setting that high standard.
I remember talking to Suna, right?
Super 50, he told me, you know, what's your goals?
I was like, yeah, I want to average 40.
He said, why don't you score 500 runs instead?
He said, averaging 40, the team could still lose.
He said, by you trying to average 40, it's probably certain, just, okay, I'll get to 40, what's going to happen after that?
Whereas if you say 500 runs, I score 120, okay, sweet, I have so many more runs to make still.
So I think as I was having high standards as a player and just genuinely working hard,
