want to just briefly talk about the filmmaker.
I saw an interview with him.
Yesterday on uh Israeli TV with uh Raviv Drucker, who's one of Israel's preeminent journalists, very thoughtful.
It was a real interview and not a frontal attack.
He was really trying to understand
what the film is about, whether the filmmaker considered all of the different angles, why did you leave out, for example, uh comparing uh how Israel uh waged this war with other armies in similar situations.
And I wanna have two opposite thoughts about the filmmaker.
One is how childish he is, and
He could not have hoped for a softer interview from an Israeli journalist.
Jucker was really fair with him, and he was so thin skinned.
He kept saying to Juker, Well, go make your own film if you think I left this out.
What that's just a childish answer.
But the other response that I had was
Was this is an Israeli kid?
And what touched me, despite myself, I did not want to be moved by him.
Drucker asked him, Are you worried about coming back to Israel?
And he said, Of course I'm worried.
Israel's my home.
I want to continue living in Israel.
And suddenly it just hit me.
