So first of all, when you look at the literature that um interview lots of traffickers and their facilitators, like bend of focus studies, a lot of time they and and this is cross cultural too, like including the trafficker that I interview, um, they look at human trafficking not so much as exploitation, like or you know, something to explore their fantasy, whatever, you know, like

They're not looking at trafficking as uh rapist, looking at rape or sexual assault.

They're looking at trafficking as more of a business model.

This is a business for them.

This is not has nothing to do with exploitation.

It happens to be exploitation, they make more money, that's great.

But at the end of the day, for them, it's about money.

So that's why I think if eye for eye, right?

Like if it's about money, then we need to tackle their illicit

You know, we've been advocating for victim center approach, which often in itself has you don't have any problem with that except because we've been focusing on victim center approach, I don't think we have a lot of research when it comes to looking at financial crime or immigration, you know, fraud or anything that the criminal the traffickers actually need to operate successful.

A lot of time, especially in the East Asian culture, they don't really know who their real actual traffickers are.

And this is done on purpose.

Trafficker as a business person, like restaurant owners, he's not gonna tell every single detail about how the this works, the business works, the where he's hiding money, how he's bringing women and all these details.
