And that's what you're really trying.

To avoid this flu season.

So it's going to be available for everyone over the age of 50.

And when they ran their clinical trial, it was found to be 27% more effective than the traditional shot.

And like I said, they're hopeful that looking forward to future flu seasons, they're gonna be able to cut down that production time.

So if there's another strain or they're gonna have to quickly pivot like they could have done last year, that will present another option for them.

Right, so that's the next step, right?

So the FDA is in charge of approving vaccines, and then the CDC is the one that's recommending them.

And every year the CDC has come out and said we recommend that everyone over the age of six months gets the vaccine.

And every public health expert and doctor I talk to anticipates and hopes that the CDC is gonna make that decision again this year.

The weather is gonna get colder, kids are gonna start flowing back into school, and that is the perfect environment for flu to really spread.

And that's when we start to see the flu virus really take off, right?

In the winter months, going to the fall, and then even through the spring.

So in the weeks ahead, you want to talk to your doctor, talk to your pharmacist about getting that flu vaccine.

As you mentioned, this Moderna shot is gonna be available for those over the age of 50, but making sure you're having that conversation with your provider and then making sure you're protected, right?
