Like there was this incredible...

gendered effect that I witnessed where all of the women were giving such unique, nuanced, practical advice to Cass, my wife.

And I just got these cautionary tales.

I got these really short, everything's about to change, mate.

I got this idea of like, you wait.

wait for annual leave so that you can.

And I was like, this is so unhelpful to me.

And I think that there is, because you speak about, you know, when my son arrived, I cracked open.

Like I really felt everything.

I felt the entire universe really.

And it is very overwhelming.

It's extremely overwhelming.

And I think that the vulnerability that is required to express that to another man and to say, instead of leaning into how,

and difficult this is, I think the pendulum has swung too far into this, you know, node of trauma and suffering and let's only talk about things that go wrong rather than understanding that there is great beauty and joy in this process that you decided to, you know, enter.

And I think that I would love and I believe that there is a shift taking place where dads are stepping up and saying, actually...

I am doing this dual identity.

I'm doing this caregiving and breadwinning.

I'm trying to be a complex, diverse human being.

And there are very few conversations that exist to help me in that journey.
