That's like kind of goes into when I returned to college, but going back to like when I was in the ICU and
trying to get ready to move on away from that there was uh like one friend to this day the best friend i've ever had we're not in touch as much as i'd like to be anymore but for we we actually did go to high school together but
weren't really friends.
Like we see each other at parties maybe, but we both ended up going to Purdue and ended up becoming close there.
He's the one who encouraged me to join the fraternity, which I thought like my only knowledge of fraternities at that time was like animal house, American pie.
Like I'm like, that's not me.
Like I'm not going to join a fraternity.

But he got me into that, basically owe my entire college experience to him.
He was actually the first person I asked for when I woke up in the emergency room.
I mentioned when my aunt was there with my brother.
I was just like, call Joe.
And him being like an early riser, I think he was like a lifeguard that summer.
Like, was already awake and got the call, immediately drove up to Milwaukee.
And he's, you know, one of the ones who looked out for me, like, when I did end up going back to school.
But for...
those first two years of college we were like as close as any two people could be and while I don't talk to or see him as much anymore like when I do see him it's like one of those things you pick up right where you left off and it's just having people like that is the most important thing is I don't think many people do have that sort of relationship it's also like
