you know, me not being on social media, like for example, I saw him a couple months ago.

He came, he lives Nashville now.

He came back to Chicago.

I saw him.

I was like, Oh yeah, a kid now.

And he's like, I have two kids.

I was like, Oh my God, like, can I see pictures?

And you know, like you show me the pictures and like, you know, actually having a genuine conversation where like I saw the pictures on Facebook, you know, like I'd have one eye on that and one eye on whatever game was on at the time.

And yeah,

It's just like the whole social media thing keeps us connected, but also disconnected at the same time.

So yeah, I finally got into the rehab wing, much smaller room, much smaller TV, kind of like

a more, almost a more depressing setting because you don't have 24 seven care from the staff there.

They kind of leave you alone a little bit more.

That's when like they tried to like at least just sit me up like let's get him upright and like getting him used to like supporting his own body weight again and That was a miserable experience It wasn't pain.

I mean there was pain but it was more like your blood pressure just plummets and It's like this nausea Like it's like ringing in your ear like

complete and utter disorientation and i i was like no more like we can't like this is this is literal torture like my grandfather was tortured like in world war ii i'm like i'm pretty sure this is worse than whatever he went through like it it just felt like

so pointless because i'm like i'm never gonna walk again like just like get me in my like quadriplegic chair i'll i don't need to support myself in that so like why are we doing this it's just just like stop please like i want this to end i want to go home like i don't want to be here anymore and it was

I remember, like, during the week, I had, like, a certain set of physical therapists and occupational therapists and respiratory therapists.

Because you have to learn how to breathe on your own again.

And every once in a while, they would, you know, take the trach out for 10 minutes.
