live again or like in adaptive ways which that felt pointless because like i can like maybe move my right arm a little bit at this point and like i got like some like muscle function in my ankles my calves on my right side only my left side completely nothing so and one of my physical therapists actually coincidentally ended up being my pledge brother's mom he's like oh you want to produce like i produce stuff all in my room like
do you know, I can't even remember his name, Jason.
And I was like, and I tried to spell it out, like, pledge brother.
And so then, like, yeah, small world.
And it wasn't until actually I had a different
physical therapist on the weekend like on a Saturday and I was like laying on a mat and they would just kind of you know like more or less like stretch me out like and like move my muscles and limbs in a way that like might trigger like my body to remember how to like activate that again and
And he was doing it with my leg just kind of, like, extending and bending my knee, like, while I was on my back.
And he's, like, I don't know if he looked like a motorcycle, like, biker dude.
And he's, like, hey, man, like, I can feel your glute firing.
He's, like, it's not a lot, but, like, your glute is definitely firing, and it's voluntary.
Like...
he's like, you're going to walk again.
I'm like, no, like, like, why would you even put that in my head?
And he was, I mean, extremely confident about it.
He was like, if that's firing, like, I mean, I guess just the way like your nerves circuits run, like that's like a huge indicator that more is going to come back.
And once it's firing and you can build it up and he's like,
I think you're going to walk again.
