I think that yes, that is kind of the approach.
But it's a it's a very different landscape than we've seen in the past, right?
The cap is going up.
Um, every year teams are getting more and more space to re-sign their players, and that's gonna make it more difficult to bank on July first as being a true day when you can find those game-changing impact type players.
Um, I I also think that you look at players who would maybe be one year out from free agency next summer.
Teams are clearly in a position to where if they don't think they can keep players long term, they're gonna move them.
They have to recoup assets while they're at their maximum value.
So I think that the Kings will find themselves in a good spot.
after this year to be able to try and make that bigger splash.
Will they be able to do it?

I I would like to think that they could because there are positions at the top end of the lineup that need to be filled.

So I think that is the goal.
