But it was that, well, Singleton was there for the four years and put in his time, so he's basically due snaps.

Liam Clifford, kind of the same thing, that they deserve snaps simply because they were veterans and they stuck around.

And Matt Campbell does not buy into that thinking.

But that's how it's supposed to be that way.

It's supposed to be organic competition where the best of the best play.

Or you divvy up the snaps based on who deserves them.

It doesn't have to be an all or nothing thing.

Divvy up the percentages based on what you have.

Is Quincy Porter a real possibility?

I would give it a slim possibility because Penn State's not going to be the only school that targets him.

So I don't have a guarantee.

I don't have a crystal ball.

I don't have a projection.

It is a cautiously optimistic situation that Penn State is going to make a push for him.

That's the understanding is that Penn State's already apparently following on social media, right?

They are going to try.
