And what's really interesting is that, you know, open AI and entropic, they can chain it down as much as they want.
China's going to come out with an uncensored model.
And that model is going to say something different than the American models.
And it's going to perform a lot better than our models are.
And so as you may have seen, what's been happening is that all these AI ethicists that have been wanting to slow down the development of AI, they've been shown the door over and over and over again because it turns out that censorship and intelligence doesn't mix.
Look, right now there seems to be an AI arms race between the United States and China.
And if China knows one thing very well, it's that in order to destroy American manufacturing and American design, what they do is they take what America does, they copy it, and then they dump it at a very low price, usually the cost to produce it, or even below, in order to starve the American economic engine of any profits.
And that playbook is being played over and over and over again, and it's being played right now with the whole AI sector.
They're coming out with Quen, DeepSeq, Minimax, and a bunch of others that are essentially undercutting all of these frontier AI models.
Now, their tactics for this are, you know, they seem innovative, but they're pretty much just doing the playbook of what they've always done, which is copy.
And they're doing that with, like, let's say, Fable 5 from Anthropic.
These corporations are going out, fanning out tens of thousands of people that are getting a subscription or an API key, and they're
asking questions and answers to these really intelligent models in an automated way.
They're getting lists of answers from essentially this oracle and then they take these answers and they turn it in to training data and then they feed that information back in.
And so right now this is China sort of retaliating to the United States because the United States is denying China
the compute necessary for them to, you know, rapidly train their models.
I don't know if you know about this, but in 2018, Trump did the CHIPS Act.
Biden renewed it.
And then Trump, you know, term two also renewed it as well.
Basically cuts off with export controls China from receiving these NVIDIA chips, which are necessary in order to do this massive amount of training.
