And I think, you know, that was kind of the thing that I wanted to touch on in the story was just kind of you see the impact that these guys have on the fans and on baseball in this country.

And, you know, for Devon White, he's a guy who's still involved with the Blue Jays and was a hitting coach with the Bisons for a long time and has, you know, talked about just how much it kind of meant to him, his time in Toronto, calling it a second home and everything.

And being, you know, welcomed as as warmly as he is every time he comes back.

I know he threw out the first pitch before game six of the World Series and got a huge ovation there as well.

So I think, you know, for me, obviously not being around, you know, you hear all the stories, you watch all the clips.

And that does, you know, holds holds a certain place in your mind.

But I don't think that there's kind of anything like me.

Just, yeah, kind of, you know, seeing the crowd reaction to him and just kind of the overall impact that he had on these people lives on these people lives and and how much that it does kind of stick around here in 2026, despite, you know, those World Series teams being over 30 years ago is really incredible.

Yeah, I think just a really nice story for him this year.

Obviously, he missed the beginning of the year, like you mentioned, with a blood clot and as he dealt with thoracic outlet syndrome.

So for him to come back from that, I know he gave an interview down at Dunedin where he said that he wasn't sure if he was ever going to play again.

And I think, you know, for a Canadian guy who...

I think there was a meaningfulness for him to play in Vancouver and play so close to home as a professional.

So for him to kind of be able to work his way back there after getting such a short time with Vancouver in 2025 has been a really cool story.

And obviously he comes back, he has an immediate seven-game history, gets a bunch of home runs.

Just for him as kind of like a future impact guy, it's kind of a typical Blue Jays profile, I think.

um where he is he's he's walking a bunch getting on base he's not chasing um you know he's he's able to get to a little bit more power now i think kind of when he first came up that that power wasn't necessarily showing up but we've kind of seen it now uh here he's already got four four home runs this year in vancouver in 12 games and

I think just kind of for him learning the ins and outs of center field is kind of a next step for him and just just been really cool to kind of see his story and how he's gone from, you know, this this highly touted Canadian prospect to a Blue Jays guy to injured now back to kind of being this star and a leadoff guy in Vancouver, I think when you look at.
