Yeah, so turnout has been really, really high.
I want to set the stage.
About the last two weeks of early voting in Texas, turnout has been incredible.
And I think a lot of people thought Democrats would have maybe around one and a half million voters in this primary.
And it looks like they're going to have well over two million voters, probably closer to two and a half million.
So Democrats in their Senate primary and again, voting still going on today.
So it's not done yet.
But Democrats in this Senate primary look like they're going to outvote Republicans in the 2024 presidential primary, which is which is incredible, given that this is a midterm election.
And, you know, presidential primaries generally get, you know, much higher voter participation.
Yes.
But these trends have continued throughout the day from what we can tell.
So Dallas County is twice as many people as Travis County.
So, you know, you'd expect them to have roughly twice as many votes.
You know, in the morning today on Election Day, they had a very comparable number of votes.
And a couple of things are happening here.
First, there's been a lot of chaos today because a lot of Dallas County voters are actually getting turned away when they try to vote today because there is no unified primary because Republicans in Dallas County actually wanted their entire primary to be on paper ballots.
So now the Democratic primary is holding an ununified primary, and this is increasing turnout in Dallas County today.
I believe actually right now the Crockett campaign is considering trying to extend voting hours in Dallas County from 7 to 9 p.m.
