Is that essentially if we want the EU to be a strong, independent actor in a world where it is continuously being tested by external threats, I'm not gonna dive deep into our how our allies treat us because that's not the way
That our allies should treat us, and I'm obviously referring about um the US and and Donald Trump there.
But then we have also Russia, right, that's threatening our borders.
We need to remain strong about our what makes us truly European: democracy, unity, diverse values, but still values that are sort of holding on to, which is not only
Democracy, but the rule of law, sort of, and also the capacity to have different cultures and yet still work as a sort of hierarchical system.
And this, what I'm hopeful about the future, is actually the opportunity for the EU to come out of this very, very um tough international situation, international situation.
seen right now as a strong actor.
How?
By simply listening to its citizen, right?
Listening to its European, young European citizens.
Um it's not doing it effectively.
The problem is.
Because the right now with all the initiatives there is the young the citizen initiative, but also that you can participate on the policy, um
with the EU on the EU's website and you can participate in various ways.
It's still very unknown.
It's not selling itself out there, the EU.
It's like not being very uh promotional about what it does.
So things to improve, definitely what it does.
Um and also things to uh that are mostly scary is obviously the rise of the far right.
