And I think that it's OK to talk to those people who stayed home and try to convince them as what the Democratic message is.

But I think if our focus is to, like, flip Republicans to turn them to Democrats.

That ain't happening.

I mean, there's just not going to happen unless there's like a catastrophic failure under Trump.

That's like undeniable even to the MAGA folks.

But, you know, I mean, that could happen.

I think it has to be.

I mean, the general, if you zoom out, it's protecting vulnerable people, right?

Democrats need to lean into that being the core of what we are.

We're not going to win anybody over by abandoning a group of people that we're purporting to protect.

That's a really bad strategy.

I like I think Trump, I live in Georgia, so I live in a swing state.

I was bombarded with ads and every single Trump ad was, you know, some kind of anti-trans message just trying to scare you.

It's effective messaging, but just because there's effective messaging doesn't mean we have to abandon the people that we're trying to protect.

I think that what we do is instead of abandoning them, we have a backbone and lean into defending them.

And it's not going to be like, obviously it's a thousand issues to focus on, but if we're going to start abandoning whole groups, just because the messaging is tough, that's going to make us look even worse.

I think we need to stick to our values a hundred percent.
