And it just didn't feel super accessible.
And to me, that's not representative of how the left actually is.
It's just the media ecosystem that exists within the left.
So like, I think a lot of what we're trying to do now is sort of look at what's been working for the right and replicate it because it's not that we don't want to have those conversations, just nobody's doing it.
So we felt like there's a huge gap between,
No, we don't need a Joe Rogan.
That's not really our intent.
Our intent is really to show that the type of conversation you can have is just not the type of conversation that's been had on the left, but it needs to be like, because for me personally, I'm a former Republican.
I came to the left when Trump came around.
And I think, you know, I know a lot of people from back in that world, the perception of the left from people in the middle and people who voted for Trump is that we're not capable of being authentic.
that we're having these very scripted moments and everything we do is too curated.
And that's, that's what we're trying to fight against.
So I don't think you need a Joe Rogan to, you know, for the left to do that.
You need everybody to do that.
And you need to start to like set the conversational tone for everybody to say, Hey, we can have tough conversations.
We can say things the wrong way.
Trump says things the wrong way every day.
We can too.
It's the truth.
I mean, you feel like at least coming as, you know, somewhat of an outsider to the party and relatively new to it, you feel like you have to thread this very difficult needle to be taken seriously by everybody in the party.
