I think it doesn't happen as often as people would maybe like to.

And then I guess, yeah, it just kind of hit me about six months in that

I think I'd just been – I'm quite resilient and I'm a bit of a toughie sometimes but I just sort of had a bit of a breakdown.

I remember I was in Byron Bay.

I was working.

We were doing a live broadcast at Blues Fest and I was working with Double J and stayed around for a couple of extra days and I just had a full-on like –

you know, what have I done?

Like it all just hit me, which is so weird when something happens like six months on because we'd broken up in like October and this is Easter the following year.

And I think I just sort of realised, oh, maybe there was something there, I guess because we hadn't had a bad breakup as well.

I was like there was still love there.

Yeah.

Also he was travelling at the time and I was following him on Instagram and he looked like he was having a great time and he was really hot.

You're like, what have I done?

I think I just started talking to him again and I could sense that we both kind of wanted to open the door again because we were – we felt like there was unfinished business.

And so we started dating.

I think it was like in June the following year.

And it's a very surreal experience to go on dates and feel a giddy sense of –
