So being able just to kind of go, it's almost like compressing everything and going, here we are, just centre yourself and now begin.
But that's only a recent thing.
I'm a bit of a dickhead.
Yeah.
I used to actually get quite sick and I hear that now when I listen back to old interviews.
I got quite sick at Triple J because, you know, there's a lot better resource now, but when I was working there, you sort of had to do everything yourself and it was a high intensity environment.
So-
Yeah, I got quite sick during those years, but I think that the biggest part of, the biggest point of burnout for me was when I was trying to do more things but not taking anything off my plate.
So doing five days of radio a week and making a TV show and doing other projects and just saying yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, because I thought I can't say no to this or I can't give something up yet.
And...
Yeah, at that point I felt total burnout.
I think it was the point where it was the first season of Take Five, which on TV, which is a show that I've been trying for years to get up on telly.
And so it was a dream come true but I was still doing radio, which was my job, but having to add on producing a whole TV show on top of that.
And I just remember thinking a few times, oh, my God, I've gotten everything that I want and I'm not enjoying any of it.
I'm just while I'm in this meeting I'm thinking of something else.
Like I was doing Teams meetings while I was on air and
Teams meetings while you were on air.
Yeah, so like had Teams up.
My bosses are going to be like, what?
It's the only way I can do it.
