Doing all of these things throughout my life is way more important than waiting for when I can, when I can afford it, when I've got free time.
So I've always prioritised going on adventures and saying yes and travelled heaps through my life, which costs money.
Yeah.
And I've never wanted children, you know.
I've never felt that urge.
I think that that feeling of having three kids and being married was just a total societal expectation and a little kid's idea of what adults do, what women do, how life pans out.
It's that real, literally nuclear family vibe of you grow up and then you meet someone and then you get married and you buy a house and then you have babies and then you die.
Yeah.
That's life.

But I was pretty aware pretty early on that I was like, oh, yeah, I don't really feel much compulsion to – I love kids but I don't really want to have any of my own and that never really changed.
So that probably shifted around my priorities about what I needed to do and when because, you know, I've only ever had to need to worry about having a house that fits me and one other person and a cat in it.
So, yeah, that's probably been a big shift in not just the Peter Pan thing but also being able to do whatever the hell I want with, you know, all care but very little responsibility.
