You can't avoid it.
It's just, it's there.
And you can't turn a blind eye to it sometimes, in my opinion.
On my podcast, on the Footbush podcast, I sometimes get into it because I think I'm a little bit different from you.
I'm more emotional.
And often I get a very strong opinion about something.
And I just, I can't really lie to myself.
If I want to say it, I will.
And sometimes it's not the right thing to do because it will...
uh, some put, put some people off and, um, and, uh, create a rift and some listeners might, might leave me as a reason as a, as a result.
And, uh, but others may actually appreciate my honesty.
I don't know, Luke, what's the right way of doing things, but I think ultimately as long, as long as we have our way and we stand by what, what we think it's okay.
admirable and if you do this and i think to be fair this is you mentioned the word compassion or empathy or these kinds of words i think it's really important for us as english teachers too we are both english teachers and you need to have qualities like that because you you teach your students and you you have to deal with their emotional states and you have to encourage them motivate them to learn and and it's not always easy you know learning a foreign language it's it's a tough
a grueling journey, you could say, right?
You had to learn French, obviously, probably still learning it.

English is not my first language.
I'm Czech.
So I remember the journey too, and I'm still on that journey.
And if there is a teacher along the way who can be compassionate and empathetic and understands how you feel, I think it can make a real difference.
