I didn't start thinking that I'd be here.
Um I started 'cause I enjoyed the training and wanted to compete.
I like competing in sports.
Growing up I did.
Um wanted to find something in my adulthood and this is it.
A hundred percent.
I've not dealt with kind of any serious palating injuries, more niggles.
I'm quite a niggly person, so just keeping on top of that but um nothing that's not been trainable through.
Um I just kind of maybe adjust things.
Adding different movements.
Um so
Amanda dropped out on the Friday at the gym well, USA announced that.
Um the day before I'd had the game day call with my coach Sam and Will and Annie who handled me from G B.
Um
In and that cool priorities were secure fed.
Um, world record deadlift, P B total.
That was kind of our aim for the day.
We thought that maybe Amanda and Carlina going against each other, maybe if one of them would overreach, I might have a step into second, but that wasn't a given.
Um third was what we had our sights on securing because we had Nicolette from the US, we had Jess, he was looking super strong.
