We're so constantly numbing ourselves.
So I feel like the first thing is just kind of like,
carving out consistent time for yourself to basically like have a meeting with yourself.
How do I feel about this?
Like, unless you ask yourself and you think about it basically every single day, like it's really easy not to know.
And it's really easy to just go, oh, you know, I don't really know.
So I'm just going to do what that person said or what that person, they seem to know what they're doing.
So I'm just going to do that.
But the thing is like, we are all actually like so,
It sounds silly because there's, you know, 8 billion people or maybe more now at this point, maybe it's nine.
But like we are all absolute individuals and like unique people and spirits and like what works for me is not going to work for you.
And so I think the more that we can just like be genuinely in tune with our own selves and like carve out spaces for ourselves,
intentional quiet and intentional just like self-connection the more you can build that relationship and then when it does come to a crossroads or to a oh I need to make this decision like the more you practice that muscle and the more you honestly like choose the scarier thing people ask me all the time for poems about like oh like I want to move to New York but I'm afraid
because what if it doesn't work out and it's so expensive?
And you know, like that kind of thing.
I want to do this, but I don't think I'm going to because laundry list of reasons why it won't work out, right?
And- You're like a therapist.
Yes, I basically am, yeah.
They're like tiny little therapy appointments and then they get a little poem at the end that's like a receipt for therapy.
