You know, I was like, this is like the normal part of being 13 is that like, this is what we do when we hang out.

But yeah.
And then also the thing of like, I haven't had sparks fly on every date I've ever been on with a man.
Exactly.
The standard feels so much higher.
And I think part of that is that, I mean, I identify just like as like queer, but I do still like, I guess like bi would be, you know, it's like, I'm like both.
And I think that people, I think that queer women especially feel, can feel, oh, I don't know if I'm like allowed to like claim this or say this or like, there's a lot of like,
that it feels like you need to like follow in order to like explore even, which is so interesting.
And I'm sure there's like an element of misogyny in there.
Whenever you're like, I feel like there's like rules that don't apply to like the men.
Yeah.
But yeah, so I actually for the longest time was like, oh, I feel like I'm straight.
And like I did my experimenting, but like I don't feel like I'm really allowed to like claim that necessarily.
And then I had this experience when I was like 25.
22 or 23 maybe where I met the it was like a family friend of one of my close friends and she was older and she was like probably in her 50s or 60s and like very clearly like a butch lesbian.
And it reminded me of this
Like I had completely buried this, but it reminded me of one of my own family members who I had met for the first time when I was maybe seven or eight years old, who was my dad's cousin, Lisa.
And she was a butch lesbian.
And I remember meeting her and having that feeling of, you know, what you were saying, like, oh, we find each other.
