There's the sort of financial or career challenge if you're trying to make some type of career out of it.

There's the fact of the sort of consequences of playing more down the middle.

And there's the fact that

It is kind of a binary, at least in the USA and many other countries.

For example, I'm from the UK.

And in the UK and most European countries, you typically have at least three viable political parties.

But in some places, you have four, you have five.

I mean, you might have hundreds that exist.

But

In the States, you know, there's just kind of this almost like this winner's duopoly.

Winner takes all.

There's this tribe and there's this tribe and they don't overlap as much as they used to.

And so it's just like, OK, pick one and let's go.

And because of this binary thinking, last point I'll make here is.

If you don't march in lockstep with one or the other, you get you get accused of being in the other tribe.

Right.

So I've been accused of being everything from afar.

I've literally been accused multiple times of being like far right, of being a white supremacist, like as a black guy.

I've been accused of that.

of being, you know, all of this.
