We don't have an understanding there.

And I just think there's a real element that I know myself, like I'm in my 20s and most of my friends are either living with their parents or living in shared accommodations.

And I know that right now, if I find out I was pregnant, my immediate response, I'm not going to curse, but my immediate response would be like, what the hell?

I don't know what I'm going to do.

I don't know how this is going to affect work.

And I think it's wrong to create an image that, you know, at the end of the day, women are the same as men in the context that we're human.

And I think that everybody can have a, you know,

a kind of a sense of shock or a sense of uncertainty when they're faced with something unexpected.

So I don't think that's actually anything to do with infantilising women.

I think that's just a natural reality of being a person, that if something happens and you don't expect it, you get taken aback and you get shot by it.

And I know there was a point made earlier, I'm not sure who, I'm not sure again the name on who had conducted research on it, but just talking about like

abortion regret at that point.

We know, there's women who have publicly shared their story about abortion regret.

One Irish woman, Ruth O'Sullivan, she's spoken very openly about it.

So I think to say or act as if abortion regret doesn't exist is wrong and I think that it actually does a disservice to the whole discussion on abortion because there's no point pretending these women don't exist.

Could I just say something on that, Ciarán?

Yeah.

And I actually totally agree that, and it's one thing that Ruth, and I would encourage people to even listen to what she had to say in it, because I would actually say that we do have an absolute lack of support for,

post-abortion and also, I think, for women who then choose to proceed with their pregnancy or even for women who have miscarried.

There's a lot of areas like that where we don't really provide women with adequate support afterwards.
