There's no medical reason for it.

If I remember correctly, it was just introduced by Simon Coveney as an idea and was suddenly put into the bill.

Keira is obviously anti-abortion.

She doesn't want anyone having abortions.

She wants everybody to continue with pregnancy.

She talks about the anxiety and the stress.

That comes from being pregnant when you don't want to be.

If a woman does not want to be pregnant, it is very, very traumatic to be pregnant.

And to have to delay and delay and delay and wait to get the care you need to end the pregnancy.

The people of Ireland voted to allow women choice.

And infantilising them and saying, oh, come back again.

And like Lorraine, you know, covered everything there.

She's trying to be an expert on it.

But, you know, there's women who can't get to the doctor twice.

There's women who have other children to look after.

There's women who have jobs who can't take time off their jobs to go to the doctor twice.

You know, it doesn't make any medical sense.

A woman's not doing a pregnancy test and popping down to the GP later that day to try and access an abortion.

You know, they take their time, they think it over, and when they're ready, they go to the doctor.

And they should be offered the care they need when they go and not be forced back again a few days later.
