I know when that legislation was passed, it would have to be amended because of things like the three day wait.

If they were, it's because they don't believe women can make up their minds and make a decision by themselves.
And I don't think most people think that.
I don't think it was a three-day wait that was making people go, oh, this is okay, actually.
If she just waits three days, then I don't mind if she ends her pregnancy.
You know, people voted because they want to trust women.
They know not everyone can continue a pregnancy and that people have to be afforded that choice and the ability to do it.
And leaving the three-day wait just minimises their access and makes it harder.
It just makes it harder.
And women are going to do what they're going to need to do.
They've done it for decades.
They travelled abroad and they had to travel abroad.
They're going to do what they need to do to access their care.
We don't need to be making it harder for them.
No, because...
women are going to do what they have to do.
We've seen that women, like, if we hadn't have had the safety net of England and women being able to access England, we'd have had desperate women having backstreet abortions and dying.
