Chapter 1: What new music is featured on this episode?
New Music Friday on KDWB. A beautiful Friday it is. A new Music Friday to boot. It is brand new Doja Cat released like midnight last night. Some of these songs are being played on the radio. This one for the very first time. It's Doja Cat called Take Me Dancing on KDWB. Take Me Dancing is Doja Cat, brand new on KDWB. It sounds like the Jets. Somebody pointed out, if you remember the Jets.
Cross my broken heart, boy. Is that the Jets? I don't know. Keep going. I think so. Anyway, sounds like the Jets.
This is on that song, too. What?
Yeah.
No, I heard her voice and I was like, is this? Because it doesn't say it on what we're reading. But no, I looked it up. That's my baby girl. That's my future baby mama.
You say that with every single one.
No, this is future baby mama, Tate McCray's future wife.
Okay, gotcha. Where's Alyssa if they didn't know all this?
Who?

Chapter 2: What does 'I don't give an F' mean in everyday life?
And when you leave a talkback, please say, I don't give an F. Don't say the F word. Don't say the real word. Please. All right. So whatever it is, it's like, you know what? You canceled going out with your family this weekend because you want to stay at home and watch Netflix. And you don't give a bleh. You haven't washed dishes since February.
Oh, my God.
Don't give a blank. I want to hear yours. Use the talkback feature or text us at KDWB1. Friday morning dance party on KDWB and I don't give a blank. Okay, what is going on in your life right now and you don't give a blank? Bailey has not. What is yours again? Washed my bed sheets in like a month. Gross.
And I don't give an F. Well, you can't talk, Vaughn. What I'm doing isn't gross. No. I have my check engine light on, and I have a car that I literally just got in the last year, so I should be keeping up on it, but I'm procrastinating, and I don't give an F. This is why we can't have nice things, because Vaughn won't take care of them.
Look at you. You buy everything, whether it's nice or not. I do. I do. Okay. Here's some talkbacks. What are you doing, and you don't give a blank?
My husband and son are going to the in-laws this weekend, and I said I'm not going.
I don't give an F. You know what? I work from home. I have nothing on my real to-do list today, so I'm not going to work. I don't give an F. Okay.
Here's one.
Hi, this is Maya.

Chapter 3: How do personal anecdotes illustrate the theme of not caring?
I'm a crisis social worker in the metro, and sometimes my eyes just make tears and I cry, like ordering coffee or petting a dog, and I don't give a blank. If it makes you uncomfortable, move along.
Just this random person just crying at the order line. You're like, oh, no, she must have connections to this place.
Yeah, wow. This person says, I don't think I've washed my hair in a week, and I don't give an F. If you don't give an F, let us know right now. Adams family tickets. We got a family four pack of tickets to go see Adams family. It's a musical comedy and it's at the Ordway run through September 30th, which is next week, by the way, through October 5th at the Ordway.
I'm going to give you a little connections puzzle. You're going to figure out what these four words have in common. Okay. We did one last hour, and the words were gold, sun, blow, and go. You guys in the studio did not get it. Blow, go, sun, and gold.
Those are Mensa words right there, so we don't know them.
Fish was the commonality. Goldfish, sunfish, blowfish, goldfish.
So before we do this one, do not call because you have to hear Dave give the example first. True. See, people are already calling. Okay, don't call yet.
Okay, here we go. Potato. Paint. Computer. Nacho. Bailey, you're going to get it. I believe in you.
Okay.

Chapter 4: What are some humorous examples of not giving an F?
Yes, they were. It's huge.
They're asking some details about it.
Yeah, a lot of fun ideas for the experiment coming up on Discord. So Discord is where it's a discussion board where everybody can discuss Fashion Fest, the experiment. So it's very cool.
Yeah, it's like the community is really starting to rally behind some of the big themes that are getting thrown out there right now. There's about three main activations that they're working on.
Let me listen for you. First of all, the fashion market, designers, makers, and artists all in one space where you can shop and connect and support local fashion talent.
And it's not too late if you're wanting to still get involved. Anybody can go through, get on Discord, discover new work, and you can take something home with you even.
And then, of course, there's the runway show, which is like huge. That's what you picture when you think about a fashion event. Designers pair with models presenting full looks. But the real focus is on inclusivity, size diversity, gender diversity, racial diversity. It's all about representing the whole community.
Some people are suggesting like this overarching theme that ties everything together without boxing designers in. So that'd be super cool.
And the third idea is people's fashion or paparazzi moments. So you show us your best fit, get photographed and be part of the show.

Chapter 5: How does the conversation shift to listener stories?
So they're putting all this together on Discord.
Yeah, yeah. When you get it all added up, you've got your market, you got your runway, you got your paparazzi moments, networking, arts, just so many different opportunities.
So it's all tied together by community. It's not just another fashion show. It's an experiment in what happens when everybody gets a seat at the table. And if you want to start participating in this, you're in the fashion world, photography, designer, model, whatever.
You go to their website. It's fashionmsp.com.
fashion msp.com and then you join discord which is like i don't know what discord is well you'll figure it out really easy and it's kind of like just a message board where you discuss things back and forth we have a winner for the uh adam's family tickets let's see what alissa's got hi alissa hello there hello very understated alissa good morning alissa did did this come to you right away alissa
Of course.
It did. Okay. Potato, paint, computer, nacho. What do they have in common? A chip.
They're all chips. I'm hungry.
Potato chip, paint chip, computer chip, and nacho chip. Chip. Do you play Connections on New York Times every morning?

Chapter 6: What are the implications of not caring about personal grooming?
Take us along in the iHeartRadio app. Give us a little favorite. Just a little preset up in the left-hand corner. There's a little plus sign, and you can set us as a favorite so it's easy to find. The Daily Show.
All right, because it's so warm this fall so far, I want to hear from everyone here on the show. And if you want to text in, you can at 53921. What would be your ideal year in terms of seasons? For example, I don't appreciate.
that winter can really start anytime in October and end like early May that's a bunch of bull corn that is eight months of winter and winter is depressing in my humble opinion so the only time winter is allowed to exist is December through February because we know and love Christmas time with snow yeah New Year's Day with snow and I get it yeah you know the Valentine's Day that one
And all of that, that's okay. Other than that, I don't want to see winter ever again, period. That's my ideal year seasonally. Everything else is either spring, summer, or fall because we all love it.
I can't disagree with you. I want a little bit of winter because I like a snowstorm. I like to be snowed in. I like a little blizzard. That's kind of fun. I would say probably December, January, February, just like you did.
Yeah.
And then the first of March starts to green up a little bit and it starts to warm up and your lawn turns green. The trees start to bud. The flowers start to come out. And then summer would go from probably mid-April all the way through the first of October, then October. And November would be fall for pumpkins and Halloween.
Wow, that's a lot of summer. I wouldn't mind breaking up summer in the middle with like a blast of cool fall weather and then coming back to summer.
Yeah, Jenny. I would say that I would, I like the winter three months. However, I don't want really cold temperatures. I just want the snow and like cold enough to keep the snow on the ground.
