What is the main focus of today’s episode and who is the guest?
Hi everyone, welcome back to our new episodes of twenty minutes, the show where we take one design topic, we cut the fluff and then we give you everything you need to know in less than twenty minutes. Today I'm here with Diela, head of design, as always, at NoCo, as they go in men. Yeah, it did, man. Did good how about you? Good, good. Uh days are getting longer, sunny outside. Really looking forward for that season. Yeah, it's been a long, long winter actually.
Yeah, and well and you you had a pretty good one, I think, in the Netherlands at least.
How is Framer evolving beyond a pure design‑first builder?
But because there was a lot of uh snow instead of rain, what it what it sometimes can be as well. Like you know, gray gray winter with with rainy weather. Uh it's funny because we we are all we we are always talking about the weather, which is nice. Um it's also something typical, uh typical Dutch. Uh Dutchies are also uh always uh complaining about the weather.
Yeah, also Italians actually.
Yeah.
Oh
that's
funny.
What built‑in analytics features does Framer now offer?
Similarities. I mean
uh
it's got it's it's getting it's getting better, man. That and that's good. Longer days and the more sun. Um so yeah, I'm really looking forward to that season again. Yeah,
definitely, definitely. Ma I I really need some vitamin D here because Yeah, man. Uh yeah. It's uh it's great to have it, I guess.
Yeah, I mean we're uh uh we're sitting at a desk and and inside most of the time. So so I think it's good to uh have sun outside so you can just walk and and get in some some vitamin B yeah, that that's
yeah. In our design uh design trap, basically.
How can designers use Framer’s new personalization and targeting variants?
Our designer room trap. Yeah, so perfect. What we're gonna talk about today? We're gonna talk about Convert, which is uh a new update directly from uh framework, which is really, really exciting to be honest. It's something that is uh um that shifts from uh framework from a d the design developing uh tool uh into something that is more complex, right? It's something that you can optimize things, you can see analytics, uh, which usually involves um marketing teams, but now you have everything that is centralized into one single unique tool. And I think it's pretty it's pretty awesome to be honest. Um, what do you think about that?
Yeah, it's cool. It it already started with with Webflow of course first. Webflow and uh analyses which is which is uh very nice because it's a more visual way of uh showing your data.
What does the live URL‑based personalization demo show?
Yeah, back in the days we we always needed to do that via the Google Analytics, which is fine, uh I guess. But but still it's it's sometimes can be a little bit overloaded of of information, overkill. And these tools really make it easy because you can just sh basically analyze everything inside of your builder, uh inside of your CMS, which is which scroll. I think it's a really yeah, really good tool. I'm really looking forward to how it looks. We we wanna present, of course. Um, but yeah, I mean it's nice to see that those big builder tools that's Fitma oh sorry, Figma. Bramer and Webflow. Um it's it's nice that that they move towards a more visual way of showing your data. Um and uh yeah, I can't wait to see how it looks and how it feels and how it works.
So um yeah looking forward.
Yeah, definitely. Also, I think it's really like valuable for self employed because you have like uh everything that is really centralized into one single tool. You you don't need to learn like Google Analytics uh or use tools, uh marketing or data analyst tools anymore. You just have everything that is really centralized into framework. And it's uh something really unique because it's also really, really simple and easy to uh to use it. We're gonna take a closer look at it like in a bit. But it's really I think it's really valuable for not only for marketing teams uh and uh for big teams but also for self self employed.
Yeah, back in the days of course and to you need and still some a lot of people do that, but you you need to set up a lot of uh trigger events, quick events, uh and then you need to build out the folder cell uh in order to track buttons or or click. Um and now I mean everything is being already being done for you, so that that's great.
